Don't know what your email is, Ellfster. If it is possible for you maybe set to accept only those in your address book? or safe list like in hotmail maybe? Until it's gone or manageable

Yikes... Yahoo doesn't have that feature. http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/sad.gif
How about filter a few strings straight to the trash? You still have to click the empty trash still from time to time to get back space though.
Subjects will come in so many forms such as what you will see here in Symantec site (http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.swen.a@mm.html). How about filter "Microsoft" the mean time http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/unsure.gif

I'm still getting 10+ each day too, Elffy but they all go right to my bulk mail folder in Yahoo. Strange, but I don't seem to get any in any other mail accounts! I still think, for every piece of spam you "report" to Yahoo, they send you 5 more! http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/mellow.gif

ok after plonking around on yahoo mail, i found a filter, so i put in critical patch as the subject and it sands it to my trash, but with yahoo it still counts towards your size, so I probaby still stuck in the same boat of going over quota... http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/dry.gif

Is Yahoo Mail your main mail server? Why not try something different? http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/smile.gif

i did use OE in the beginning, but thier were alot of problems with it, with disconnecting and afew others i cant remember, so i delete it off the computer and have been using yahoo ever since, plus with hotmail, but lost that due to not touching it for 6 months... http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/ohmy.gif

With Yahoo all you have to do is open the message, click This is Spam and then report it to Yahoo. Then any messages coming from that email address go to bulk mail folder....currently mine is at 25 a day or so!

the thing is, is that the email address is different on each mail, like its being generated, my bulk mail usally has about 60-80 emails in it when i check it and about 40% of them are MS updates, Ive even put "patch" and Critical Patch" in a filter and to send to trash, but it doesnt do it, still goes to bulk, thats yahoo for ya, nothing works. http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/happy.gif
