I hope this hasn't been asked before here, but i keep hearing about viruses and trojans, and was wanting to know what's the best way to prevent getting any?

If i ever got one, how would i know?

Thanks to anyone who can help me. http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/thumbsup.gif

The best way to be protected...unplug your PC http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/laugh.gif ...but seriously......make sure all your windows updates are current and you have the proper security software and they are up to date...below are some recommendations...these are your basics...but the best security is common sense...by choosing what sites you visit and what you download...when your PC gets infected you will know...it will not respond the same as it use to..all the programs i have listed are free http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/cool.gif

Well Windows 95 is becoming a dinosaur as to speak...Microsoft does not offer any new update support for this operating system...as for the following if they are compatible with Windows 95:...for the easiest way to find security software for Windows 95...search Google http://www.wackyb.com/zzub/style_emoticons/cool.gif

e-Trust - No

Grisoft - Yes

Adware - Yes

Spybot - Yes

SpywareBlaster - Yes

SpywareGuard - No
