I personally think a converter and ripper should be in the same program.
Is there a difference in the amount of time you use between the two? Which is used more and which less? Which is the easier program to use? This is how I decide which of two programs to keep when I have two I am trying out. I also look for the program that does everything itself, or most everything. I hope this helps

I need help
I go with the free AVG too. Its always run well for me. It has caught anything that may come along with hogging resources. It also updates itself everyday at the same time. Oh yeah, another added bonus, its free.
